Current Interests

LoRaWAN
  • Long range, low power, low bandwidth
  • Open standard
  • Multi-vendor
  • Many use-cases: Smart Cities, Smart Buildings, Logistics & Transport Management, Healthcare, Public Safety, Environmental Monitoring, Agriculture

IPv6

Although it's been around for over 25 years, the adoption of IPv6 is still below 50% in the UK according to Google's tracker.  However, with more and more content sites available and more ISPs now offering IPv6 access, the transport protocol for the future of the Internet could be nearly here.
